History of Ripley's Believe It or Not

Ripley’s Believe It or Not was founded by cartoonist and entrepreneur Robert Ripley in 1918.

It started as a cartoon feature in newspapers, showcasing strange and unusual facts and stories from around the world.

As the popularity of the feature grew, Ripley expanded into other media, including radio and television shows, books, and museums.

Today, Ripley’s Believe It or Not has more than 100 attractions in 11 countries, including the one in Panama City Beach.

Odditorium – the centerpiece of the attraction. It features over 500 exhibits, including shrunken heads, two-headed animals, and other oddities from around the world.
Interactive Exhibits – Ripley’s Believe It or Not in Panama City Beach also has several interactive exhibits, where visitors can test their skills, knowledge, and perception. These include the Laserace, where visitors have to navigate through a laser maze without touching the beams, and the Smash Dash, where visitors can smash plates and other objects.
